I am an experienced and mission-driven educator, program leader, and international consultant with over 15 years of success building and managing student-centered programs in the U.S., China, and South Korea. My career spans a broad range of roles, including CEO of two international education firms, Director of Extended Learning Programs at a private U.S. school, and founder of global summer and winter study abroad camps. I have also overseen host family networks, led large seasonal teams, and partnered with schools to create enriching, developmentally appropriate programming across academics, arts, and student life.
I’m now seeking a full-time leadership opportunity in the U.S. auxiliary education field where I can apply my passion for innovative learning experiences, operational excellence, and relationship building to a school community aligned with my values. With a background in strategic planning, team development, and cross-cultural engagement, I bring a holistic approach to youth programming that prioritizes safety, creativity, and sustainability.
Outside of education, I’m a professional musician and international speaker who has performed Broadway repertoire with orchestras and spoken at TEDx events on the transformative power of music in youth development. I’m eager to bring that same creativity, energy, and global perspective to a vibrant auxiliary programs team in the U.S.
As CEO of Anderson Guangzhou Consulting LTD. since 2019, I have led the strategic growth and day-to-day operations of an international education consultancy based in China. I oversaw a diverse team of educators, assistants, and marketing professionals, managed recruitment and training processes, and designed specialized curricula and events that elevated the quality and impact of our offerings.
Since 2005, I have served as an international speaker and professional vocal soloist, delivering over 100 presentations on international education, cultural exchange, and the transformative power of music across China and South Korea. My performance career has taken me to world-renowned venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Lincoln Center, including recent solo performances at Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou. In addition to performing Broadway repertoire with orchestras, I have coached emerging vocalists, judged international competitions, and spoken at TEDx events. Through music and public speaking, I’ve built lasting educational partnerships and inspired diverse audiences around the world.

I developed sustainable business models and built strong educational partnerships with institutions in South Korea, China, and the United States. A key component of my role involved coordinating host family programs, where I recruited, vetted, and managed 70–80 host families annually for international summer and winter programs, ensuring full compliance and high-quality cultural experiences for students. I oversaw a diverse team of educators and support staff, designed and implemented marketing strategies, and developed engaging curricula and events tailored to international learners. I also directed the creation of U.S.-based study abroad camps focused on language, arts, and leadership, while maintaining a deep understanding of global education trends—particularly in music, drama, and cross-cultural enrichment.
As the Extended Learning Programs Director at Eastern Christian School from 2009 to 2015, I led the design, implementation, and growth of all academic and experiential programming outside the traditional school day. This included after-school programs, summer camps, international student camps, and the Eagles Learning Center. I managed strategic planning, staff recruitment, budget oversight, vendor partnerships, and marketing—ensuring program excellence and sustainability. I successfully recruited and coordinated 70–80 host families annually for international winter and summer programs, handling all compliance and logistics. My leadership extended internationally through the cultivation of strategic partnerships in China, South Korea, and the U.S., supported by annual recruitment and relationship-building travel. My time at EC resulted in consistent program expansion, elevated engagement, and strengthened global connections.
As Assistant Camp Director at The Salvation Army’s Camp Tecumseh from 2005 to 2009, I was responsible for achieving annual operational goals across all aspects of camp life, including program development, facility operations, risk management, budget oversight, and personnel leadership. I designed and implemented a variety of purpose-driven camp programs while managing a diverse team of year-round and seasonal staff, as well as volunteers.
