I am an experienced Youth Programs Manager with 20 years of leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that empower young people. I am seeking to apply my proven expertise in program design, staff development, and community partnerships to drive positive youth outcomes in a mission-driven organization.
Create and implement the structure, schedule, and curriculum components for out of school time care and summer camp. Hire and supervise all program staff employees. Train, oversee, and mentor all program staff and faculty. Perform key administrative duties, maintain handbooks, budgets, payroll, and purchasing supplies. Responsible for profit and loss ownership of the Afterschool program, overseeing revenue growth with a revenue over $350,000 forecasted this school year. Work cooperatively with the Auxiliary program staff related to the operations of Summer Camp.
Responsible for training and supervision of all staff and class instructors including preschool, developmental, and competitive levels. Instruct all age groups including beginner, intermediate, and competitive levels. Assist in management of the department budget, work with parents and gymnasts, plan and organize team meets, schedules, and functions, and coordinate overall gymnastics center operations. Responsible for the overall management of a dedicated gymnastics center with more than 600 kids per session and 40 employees. Organize and run all family events, parent’s night out, and free class programming. Oversaw a multi-site day camp in 2013 and 2014.
Responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising administrative support staff for a multi-site day camp during the summer months. Duties also include communicating with parents, addressing concerns with their child’s camp experiences. Also create daily routines and schedules for campers and staff. Manage all current youth programs while creating new programs and family events. Responsible for budget administration for all assigned departments including, but not limited to, Informal Education and Day Camp. Monitor and instruct classes and events such as preschool art classes or an annual event like Health Kids Day.
